SAE J2534 compliant reprogramming software for Honda and Acura vehicles is offered FREE of charge. This J2534 software, when used with a properly built J2534 pass-thru device, will automatically check for the latest vehicle calibration information. For access to SAE J2534 Information on the Honda/Acura Service Repair website:
- From the Home Page, go to Diagnostic Tools section and click on the link for a ‘complete list of diagnostic tools’.
- Refer to the Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) and Control Module (CM) Update row, click on the ‘Purchase’ link under Software column.
SAE J2534 compliant reprogramming software for Honda and Acura vehicles is offered FREE of charge. This J2534 software, when used with a properly built J2534 pass-thru device, will automatically check for the latest vehicle calibration information. Reprogramming should only be performed according to Honda or Acura service bulletins.
Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) software package and one of the following are needed:
- Windows Laptop or desktop computer
- Modular Vehicle Communications Interface (MVCI)
- J2534 Software – refer to bottom of the page for download.
You must be a Service Express subscriber to enroll in the HDS software package subscription program. Instructions for ordering the software are available at www.serviceexpress.honda.com under the “Diagnostic Tools” tab.
